Data collected
Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, country, NIF if provided); booking details (dates, room or service, number of people); exchanges via the contact form; technical data (IP address, logs) for security purposes. Card payment data is processed directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
Purposes
Manage your bookings and your stay; process payments; respond to your requests; send you transactional emails (confirmation, reminder); comply with our legal and accounting obligations; ensure the security of the site.
Legal bases
Performance of the contract (booking, stay); compliance with legal obligations (invoicing, accounting); legitimate interest (site security, fraud prevention); consent where required (contact form).
Retention periods
Booking and invoicing data: kept for as long as required by Portuguese legal and accounting obligations (up to 10 years for accounting records). Requests via the contact form: for the time needed to process them. Beyond that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold. It is shared only with our technical processors: Stripe (payment), Mailjet (transactional emails) and Sentry (technical monitoring). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union (notably in the United States); these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to set post-mortem instructions. To exercise them, write to [email protected].
Cookies and audience measurement
The site uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation. Technical monitoring tools are not used for advertising targeting purposes.
Complaint to an authority
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Portugal, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados); in France, the CNIL.
